The Social Change Institute, Canadian Environmental Leadership Program, The Art of Leadership and The Art and Craft of Facilitation are all offered at the Centre. Located on Cortes Island British Columbia, the retreat centre offers its own programming designed to enrich and inspire.
Endswell Foundation:
Endswell’s mission is to support a conservation economy in British Columbia as a way of life that includes a stable, vibrant, and forward-looking economy based on the best practices of environmental stewardship. They support charities whose mission is to find innovative solutions to the environmental, economic and social problems we face today.
Tides Canada Foundation:
We are a national public foundation with a unique focus: providing charitable giving services to donors interested in values-led philanthropy in the areas of environmental sustainability and progressive social change. Tides Canada Foundation actively promotes change towards social and environmental well-being that is founded on the principles of:

Brainerd Foundation:
The Brainerd Foundation protects the environment of the Northwest and builds broad citizen support for conservation. We make grants, provide guidance, leverage funding and encourage collaboration within the philanthropic community.
Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, British Columbia and the Yukon Territory constitute our geographic funding region.
Bullitt Foundation:
The Bullitt Foundation is a private philanthropic foundation providing funding to nonprofit organizations working to safeguard the natural environment by promoting responsible human activities and sustainable communities in the Pacific Northwest. The Foundation's geographic focus is Washington, Oregon, Idaho, western Montana (including the Rocky Mountain range), coastal Alaska from Cook Inlet to the Canadian border, and British Columbia.
Wilburforce Foundation:
Wilburforce Foundation is a private, philanthropic foundation that funds environmental issues in the Western U.S. and Western Canada. Begun in 1991, the Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations that have programs concentrating on our funding areas. We invest in efforts that span some or all regions with the intention of increasing the chance of success on the ground. Our cross cutting programs are Conservation Science, Capacity Building, and Conservation Law & Policy.
Vancity Community Foundation:
The Vancity Community Foundation is a catalyst for transformation, investing in the vision of communities. Using community economic development strategies, partnerships & advocacy, we enable community change, capacity building & well being.
