This course offers a powerful set of tools and ideas to enhance collaboration and promote empowerment within communities and organizations. 

Building on key concepts and clear definitions of roles, explore a diverse toolkit suitable for use by third-party interveners, managers or leaders in a diverse range of organizations, or those who simply want to improve their contribution to group effectiveness. With hands-on exercises and role-plays, plus numerous examples from the participants themselves, examine the personal and professional demands of facilitation, including what it takes to remain centered in conflict situations, and stay grounded when group cohesion seems to be ebbing away.

Julian Griggs is one of the founding Principals of Dovetail Consulting Inc., and has been a regular trainer and facilitator for the Hollyhock Leadership Institute since its inception. In the last 10 years, Julian has designed and facilitated over several hundred workshops, strategic planning retreats and conferences for corporate, government, First Nations and non-government clients.
