Stefan Lorimer,
is currently the Executive Coordinator of PLAN Institute for Caring Citizenship. 
He managed a national tour and publicity for the award winning film "The Ties That Bind" a joint production between PLAN Institute, Force Four Productions and the National Film board of Canada. His abilities in gaining media exposure and organizing events have helped bring attention to his work including most recently the LaFontaine Baldwin Symposium for the Institute of Canadian Citizenship featuring Adrienne Clarkson as speaker. Building on experience and knowledge developed with Organik Productions, of which he is a co-owner, Stefan has been creating content and modifying new web 2.0 technologies to better manage online assets at PLAN Institute. Stefan's first job at an Internet start-up in Gastown fresh out of high school fuelled his interest in technology to create societal change. He has been actively pursuing alternative and green energy power systems to assess their application in everyday households and urban development. While studying at Simon Fraser University in the field of geography, his research extended from sustainable and regional development to the geoweb developing content for Google Earth.
