Patricia Chew, Executive Director
Patricia has a diverse background that spans both the nonprofit and broadcast media worlds, having served as President and Vice-President (Asia) of ORBIS, a global agency dedicated to preserving and restoring sight in the developing world, and as an anchor and reporter for CNN International and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, respectively.
As an investigative journalist, she focused on social change, both in Canada and abroad, including several exposes on environmental problems. She has also been an independent television journalist, and a media consultant to the United Nations during the handover of Hong Kong to the People’s Republic of China.  Patricia_Chew@wcel.org
