Jenn McGinn is an Account Manager with Vancity Credit Union’s Community Business Banking team. She works primarily with social advocacy and environmental organizations within the non-profit sector. It’s an ideal fit as she has dedicated her life for many years in the social change movement. Prior to joining Vancity, she was the Executive Director for the South Granville Seniors Centre. She has also worked with women’s organizations, primarily around the issues of violence against women. In her volunteer life, she chairs the Board of Management for Britannia Community Services Society, where she has been a Board member since 2002. Jenn has also served as a Board member or volunteer with Little Mountain Neighbourhood House, Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House, and the Coastal Jazz & Blues Society. She also has a passion for politics and has been an Executive member, and past President, of the Vancouver East Federal NDP Riding Association for 10 years. When she’s not involved in creating social change, she enjoys cooking, listening to music, working out, and having scintillating conversations with a diverse group of folks.
