Robert Marus is the Manager of Vancity’s Community Business Banking Group. He is responsible for managing a team of Account Managers who specialize on providing banking solutions to non-profits, cooperatives and Unions in BC.  He is also a member of Vancity’s Community Investment team, an internal strategy group whose job it is to percolate up needs from the community to the Senior Executive and Board. With an interest in leadership, Robert is one of 5 Lead Staff for Vancity’s Community Leadership strategy, as well as the Team Lead for Vancity’s Business Credit Group for Non-Profits.

Robert has been in banking for 19 years – all of it with Vancity.  He joined Business Banking in 1996 and started specializing in providing financial solutions to the non-profit market in the year 2000. He currently oversees a portfolio of non-profit business in excess of $400 Million.  As a volunteer, he sits on several local community boards in an executive capacity.
