Lori Winstanley
Lori is a seasoned campaigner and political activist as has worked on political and progressive campaigns for more three decades. Lori got her start fresh out of social work school putting her passion for women’s issues and people living in poverty into action, cementing her belief in community-based solutions.
Lori is a veteran political organizer having worked on every provincial and federal election campaign since 1983.
She built a communications and public relation business in the 1990s that developed social marketing approaches for provincial and nation-wide campaigns and organizations trying to influence public policy.
Lori is a keen student of Web 2.0 and enjoys time in the blogosphere and developing online communities.
She is currently the Director of COPE 378’s Strategic Campaigns and Communications which includes the Public Power BC—Take Back the Power campaign.
Lori lives on her sailboat with her husband and is proud of their increased reliance on solar power.
