Based on the experience and knowledge of over 10 years of supporting environmental and social change, the goal of our Canadian Environmental Leadership Program (CELP) is to support the development of skilled leaders equipped to bring about change to environmental and sustainability issues in Canada.

Through workshops and dialogues, sessions are taught by some of North America's most experienced environmental and social change leaders.

Individuals seeking support to
achieve personal and professional balance and opportunities to draw on their own creativity and passion.

Hollyhock Accommodation and Meal Packages

The Canadian Environmental Leadership Program is taught at Hollyhock Centre, on Cortez Island BC, Canada’s leading educational retreat centre.  Set in gorgeous, natural surroundings.  For seven days and nights you will be able to enjoy all that Hollyhock Centre has to offer, including three gourmet meals a day, ocean swimming, nature trails, yoga and meditation.

While the majority of the program is subsidized we do ask participants to pay a registration fee of $900. This fee helps pay for the facility, faculty, course materials, 7 nights of accommodation and three meals a day.

For those who are unable to cover the cost of registration fees and travel, there are a limited number of partial scholarships available. Unfortunately, HLI will not be able to provide all worthy applicants with financial assistance. Special consideration will be given to those participants who work in or are from rural or Northern communities, or cultural communities such as First Nations who may otherwise have fewer opportunities to participate in this type of skills training.
