Change the world, one story at a time. This dynamic writing workshop is designed for non writers with a story to tell.

Learn how to take a dramatic moment from your life or work and draw on it to create written material that can inspire others and widen your impact in the world.

In the workshop you will gain the skills to document your experiences, express what they taught you, identify what they might communicate to others, and structure clear and powerful pieces. Focusing on a specific episode or action will allow you to create a foundation for constructing the larger story of what you have accomplished and understood as an activist, artist, businessperson or other professional.

The professional development workshop will be an intensely gratifying experience in and of itself. You will leave with a completed piece and the ability to continue working on your own, if you wish, towards finishing a larger story. Take this opportunity to step back, reflect on what you’ve done, and put your thoughts on paper in an encouraging and energizing atmosphere.

Linda SolomonLinda Solomon has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. She has written for The Los Angeles Times and International Herald Tribune.  She has taught writing in Europe, the United States and Canada. Linda’s reportage on activists Wangari Maathai, Medha Patkar and Noreen Kaleeba in Africa and India inspired her to help other activists take their stories out into the world, so that others can see that the actions of a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens really can change the world.
