Accessible to everyone, the synergy and interdependence practiced in a choir have much to teach us about how to achieve harmony in our lives, and in the world. Singing in tune requires deep listening, and choir becomes a guiding metaphor for building harmony in our world.
In a relaxed atmosphere of acceptance and fun, we will form a spirited chorus, singing songs from various cultures as we practice the skill of hearing and holding our own part while listening to others, creating a harmonious whole. When approached as a conscious body practice, with attention to posture and breathing, singing can leave the body feeling energized and renewed.
Learn to appreciate the sound of your own voice, develop confidence singing with others and experience the thrill of voices raised in harmony. Whether you have always loved to sing, or always wished you could, come and add your voice to the chorus. All voices are welcome, with no experience necessary.
