Many of us seeking a life of integrity in our society are faced with deep conflict. How to find our way between the materialistic values of our culture and our inner calling to a more spiritual or ecological perspective? Rather than a choice between renouncing the world or losing our sense of soul, there is a middle way. The Path of Attainment defines our motivation for accomplishment in terms of spiritual practice. Guided by stories, teachings and practices from spiritual traditions, along with creative experiences and small group dialogues, we explore the following topics to help you find your way:
Topics:
- The relationship of inner empowerment and outer accomplishment.
- Healthy aspects of both desire and renunciation.
- Positive ways of working with ambition, competition and mastery.
- Choosing goals that are true to your values and the principle of right livelihood.
- The ideal/reality of serving and the way of reciprocity.
- Essential spiritual practices to support you on this path
