Rhian Walker,

Rhian brings a proven track-record providing strategic counsel and communications support to non-profits, government, health organizations and business. In her three years as a PR and Strategy consultant for QUAY Strategies Inc, she  provided communications counsel and strategic support to a number of organizations. Recent projects included a campaign on counter-narcotics policies in Afghanistan and a provincial community social services network. A skilled facilitator, she has supported cross-sector partnerships for social services, health, and the community, developing projects and strategies that involved multiple stakeholders. Prior to this, she worked for the Canadian Cancer Society in both Communications and Fundraising, managing regional marketing campaigns and coordinating the largest fundraising event on Vancouver Island. She is currently the board co-chair of Leave Out Violence BC and has an MA in Philosophy, Religion and Literature.
