Omar Bhimji is the project manager of PEDAL's Bike Depot, a bicycle recycling and education center in Vancouver, BC.  Hi work involves fundraising, community networking, overseeing PEDAL's charitable work, developing and coordinating PEDAL's educational programming, and recruiting and training staff and volunteers.  He's worked for the UBC Bike Co-op and Bikes Not Bombs, serves on the City of Vancouver's Bicycle Education and Promotion Subcommittee, and writes for Momentum magazine.  Omar received his BA from McGill University and his LLB from the University of British Columbia.  He lives in Vancouver with his partner Sarah and their son Sachaa.
