Due to a number of factors, we have made the difficult decision to ramp down the Hollyhock Leadership Institute.  Our work under the organizational name of HLI will be continuing until June 1st 2009, upon which the Vancouver office will close.  This will not affect Hollyhock Centre, which will continue to run a great roster of skills-training programs and conferences in Vancouver and on Cortes Island.  Visit www.hollyhock.ca to register for trainings and programs. 

In order to continue the legacy of HLI and support the environmental and social change sectors, we are currently pursuing discussions with key partners and working with Tides Canada, our parent organization, to proactively draw up a plan that will allow continued programming and capacity-building to be offered to the community.  We hope to be sharing that plan and structure soon, so keep checking our website for more details or contact us directly.

We are proud of our 10 years of offering training, facilitation and capacity-building to the environmental and social change communities in BC and beyond.  There have been so many people who have contributed vision, resources, energy and enthusiasm to this project, from staff to volunteers to partners and funders.  We have truly felt supported by a vast community of people committed to advancing social and environmental change.
